Ethnum was founded by legal accounting professionals who spent years inside law firms—not observing them from the outside, but living the day-to-day reality of IOLTA accounts, bar audits, and partner reconciliations.
Our founders watched firsthand as talented attorneys—some of the sharpest legal minds they’d ever encountered—lost nights and weekends to trust accounting problems that no lawyer should ever have to solve alone. The tools existed. The knowledge existed. But no firm had put them together exclusively for law practices.
So we built one. Ethnum was created with a single conviction: law firms deserve financial experts who already understand their world—not general bookkeepers learning on the job at the firm’s expense.
Today, Ethnum serves law firms across all 56 US jurisdictions, from solo practitioners in their first year of practice to multi-partner firms billing millions. Ashish Sharma is a legal accounting and trust compliance expert with extensive experience helping law firms manage financial operations efficiently and with confidence. He specializes in trust accounting, IOLTA compliance, and financial reporting for attorneys, ensuring firms remain compliant while reducing administrative burden, risk, and costly errors.
With a strong background in legal finance, Ashish works closely with solo practitioners and growing firms to streamline accounting processes, improve accuracy, and simplify complex trust management. He focuses on building structured, scalable systems that bring clarity to financial operations and support long-term growth.
His goal is to help attorneys save time, maintain complete compliance, and operate with greater confidence—so they can focus more on their clients instead of managing books, while building a strong and reliable financial foundation for their firm.
